Thr Japan Karate Association, Sri Lanka branch, which is affiliated to the Japan Karate Association Japan was established in Sri Lanka in 1990. Its proud to be stepping in to the 30th successful year in 2020. The Japan Karate Association’s 8th Dan Black Belt holder Shihan Masahiko Tanaka is the Former Technical Director for Sri Lanka, New Technical Director Shihan Shosuke Otani 7th Dan Black Belt, while 6th Dan Black Belt holder Shihan D.L Lalith is the Chairman of the J.K.A’s World Federation, Sri Lanka branch representative and Chief instructor. He has served not only the association, but also has brought glory to Sri Lanka. There are many JKA Sri Lanka students has participated and won many national and international tournaments.
